1. Production process

The process of making injection molds mainly includes accepting tasks, mold design, mold manufacturing, mold inspection and testing, mold modification and repair, mold maintenance and other steps.

Acceptance task: The production of plastic molds begins with the customer providing product drawings to the mold manufacturer. The manufacturer collects, analyzes, and digests product data based on the requirements of the plastic molding task. In this process, it is necessary to understand the technical requirements such as the purpose, processability, and dimensional accuracy of the parts, the requirements of the product in terms of external shape, color transparency, and performance, whether the geometric structure, slope, and embedded parts of the plastic parts are reasonable, and the allowable degree of forming defects such as weld lines and shrinkage holes. At the same time, it is necessary to understand the requirements for the injection method, plastic material properties, mold structure types, and select suitable molding equipment, including injection capacity, mold locking pressure, injection pressure, mold installation dimensions, etc.
